Scholarship Unit
The Scholarship Unit is responsible for managing and following up on the affairs of scholarship recipients and staff members pursuing further studies. It provides the necessary support throughout the scholarship journey by receiving applications, following up on procedures, and coordinating with relevant entities, thereby facilitating the scholarship experience and supporting the University’s objectives for developing its human capital.
Responsibilities
✓ | Receive and review external scholarship applications in accordance with approved regulations. |
✓ | Follow up on the academic status of scholarship recipients and staff members studying abroad. |
✓ | Respond to scholarship recipients’ inquiries and provide procedural support. |
✓ | Coordinate with Saudi cultural missions and other relevant educational entities. |
✓ | Follow up on transactions through approved electronic systems, including the Safeer system. |
✓ | Review and periodically update scholarship recipients’ data and prepare related reports and statistics. |
✓ | Follow up on the implementation of decisions related to scholarships, extensions, deferments, and scholarship termination. |
